 芬蘭AVARTE OY 公司成立于1980年,是北歐最著名的家具商之一,產(chǎn)品來自當(dāng)代頂尖家具設(shè)計(jì)大師約里奧·庫(kù)卡波羅(YRJO KUKKAPURO)為首的設(shè)計(jì)團(tuán)隊(duì).
庫(kù)卡波羅是一位堅(jiān)定的功能主義者, 50年代,他是第一位將人體工學(xué)引入家具設(shè)計(jì)的設(shè)計(jì)師;他的作品簡(jiǎn)潔、質(zhì)樸、高雅、結(jié)構(gòu)暴露,充分體現(xiàn)北歐簡(jiǎn)約風(fēng)格; 他將生態(tài)學(xué)/人體工學(xué)/美學(xué)列為家具設(shè)計(jì)要素,希望產(chǎn)品可靠/耐用/舒適/環(huán)保
在漫長(zhǎng)的設(shè)計(jì)生涯中,庫(kù)卡波羅的設(shè)計(jì)風(fēng)格從不追風(fēng),從不逐流,在許多曇花一現(xiàn)般的流行風(fēng)格前,庫(kù)卡波羅的作品更顯歷久彌新;今天,庫(kù)卡波羅的早期作品依然在全球范圍生產(chǎn)流通,而且就像五、六十年前一樣,充滿現(xiàn)代感。
庫(kù)卡波羅教授的足跡遍布世界范圍,他的作品14次被包括紐約現(xiàn)代藝術(shù)博物館、德國(guó)VITRA設(shè)計(jì)博物館等永久收藏,1963-1980年期間,以校長(zhǎng)和客席教授身份施教多個(gè)國(guó)家的設(shè)計(jì)院校（包括中國(guó)江南大學(xué)、南京林業(yè)大學(xué)等）,1980年至今,講學(xué)于世界各地,并堅(jiān)持創(chuàng)作設(shè)計(jì),每年都有新的設(shè)計(jì)作品推出。
Timeless furniture
The core of Avarte’s collection are the classics designed by the company’s principal designer, Yrjo Kukkapuro in the 1960’s, for example Karuselli, Remmi, Ateljee and Funktus chairs. One of Kukkapuro’s favourite sayings, “Does it make any sense to design a chair which is not good to sit on.” describes Avarte’s love for ergonomic furniture. Kukkapuro has also states that a designer should be an artist, a doctor and an engineer in the same time. Kukkapuro’s timeless pieces are displayed for example in New York MoMA’s and London Victoria and Albert Museum’s permanent collections. Today, Avarte collaborates also with other leading designers like Mikko Paakkanen, the designer of the much praised Nietos-chair, who was nominated as the Young Designer of the year 2006.

Projects worldwide
AVARTE has participated in many interior design projects worldwide. We have supplied furniture to several projects designed by famous architects, such as cultural centres, city halls, offices of many international corporations, universities and other institutes, banks and hospitals.
Modern classics
For example the following museums have taken furniture designed by Yrj? Kukkapuro for AVARTE to their permanent collections: New York: Museum of Modern Art, London: Victoria and Albert Museum, Hamburg: Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Weil am Rhein: Vitra Design Museum, Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Helsinki museums of industrial art, and the National Museum in Stockholm.
Environment
Rational use of materials and timeless design combined with the high quality, durability and long lifespan of furniture is the most essential factor for our environment. A piece of furniture stresses the environment at the most when it is taken to the dump. AVARTE furniture are made for long term use and their lifespan is prolonged by the availability of replacement parts, which are easy to change.  |
